Ain’t No Sunshine

Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone

It’s not warm when she’s away

Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone

And she’s always gone too long

Anytime she goes away

Wonder this time where she’s gone

Wonder if she’s gone to stay

Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone

And this house just ain’t no home

Anytime she goes away

And I know, I know, I know, I know, I know

I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know

I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know

I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know

I know, I know, I know

Hey, I ought to leave the young thing alone

But ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone

Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone

Only darkness everyday

Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone

And this house just ain’t no home

Anytime she goes away

Anytime she goes away

Anytime she goes away

Anytime she goes away

Anytime she goes away

Lean On Me

Sometimes in our lives

We all have pain

We all have sorrow

But if we are wise

We know that there’s always tomorrow

Lean on me

When you’re not strong

And I’ll be your friend

I’ll help you carry on

For it won’t be long

Till I’m gonna need

Somebody to lean on

Please

Swallow your pride

If I have things

You need to borrow

For no one can heal

Those of your needs

That you wont let show

Ya just call on me brother

If you need a hand

We all need somebody to lean on

I just might have a problem that youll understand

We all need somebody to lean on

Lean on me

When youre not strong

And ill be your friend

Ill help you carry on

For it wont be long

Till I’m gonna need somebody to lean on

Ya just call on me brother

If you need a hand

We all need somebody to lean on

I just might have a problem that youll understand

We all need somebody to lean on

If

There is a load

You have to bare

That you cant carry

I’m right up the road

Ill share your load

If you just call me

Call me

If you need a friend

Just The Two Of Us

I see the crystal raindrops fall

And the beauty of it all

Is when the sun comes shining through

To make those rainbows in my mind

When I think of you sometime

And I want to spend some time with you

Chorus:

Just the two of us

We can make it if we try

Just the two of us

Just the two of us

Building castles in the sky

Just the two of us

You and I

We look for love no time for tears

Wasted water’s all that is

And it don’t make no flowers grow

Good things might come to those who wait

Not for those who wait too late

We gotta go for all we know

Repeat Chorus

I hear the crystal raindrops fall

On the window down the hall

And it becomes the morning dew

And darling when the morning comes

And I see the morning sun

I want to be the one with you.

Stories

Who will buy a glad story

That a young man has to sell?

Come into my house of glory

And I will treat you well.

Who will buy a sad story

That a widow has to sell?

Come into my house of lonely

And I will treat you well.

BRIDGE:

Young and old, we all have stories

That we all must try to sell

Tales of how you get to heaven

And how we been through hell

Who will buy a perfumed story

That a young girl has to sell?

Sleep with me on satin pillows

And I will treat you well.

Grandma’s Hands

Grandma’s hands

Clapped in church on Sunday morning

Grandma’s hands

Played a tambourine so well

Grandma’s hands

Used to issue out a warning

She’d say, «Billy don’t you run so fast

Might fall on a piece of glass

«Might be snakes there in that grass»

Grandma’s hands

Grandma’s hands

Soothed a local unwed mother

Grandma’s hands

Used to ache sometimes and swell

Grandma’s hands

Used to lift her face and tell her,

«Baby, Grandma understands

That you really love that man

Put yourself in Jesus hands»

Grandma’s hands

Grandma’s hands

Used to hand me piece of candy

Grandma’s hands

Picked me up each time I fell

Grandma’s hands

Boy, they really came in handy

She’d say, «Matty don’ you whip that boy

What you want to spank him for?

He didn’ drop no apple core»

But I don’t have Grandma anymore

If I get to Heaven I’ll look for

Grandma’s hands

Use Me

My friends feel it’s their appointed duty

They keep trying to tell me all you want to do is use me

But my answer yeah to all that use me stuff

Is I wanna spread the news that if it feels this good getting used

Oh you just keep on using me until you use me up

Until you use me up

My brother sit me right down and he talked to me

He told me that I ought not to let you just walk on me

And I’m sure he meant well yeah but when our talk was through

I said brother if you only knew you’d wish that you were in my shoes

You just keep on using me until you use me up

Until you use me up

Oh sometimes yeah it’s true you really do abuse me

You get in a crowd of high class people and then you act real rude to me

But oh baby baby baby baby when you love me I can’t get enough

I and I wanna spread the news that if it feels this good getting used

Oh you just keep on using me until you use me up

Until you use me up

Talking about you using me but it all depends on what you do

It ain’t too bad the way you’re using me

Cause I sure am using you to do the things you do

Ah ha to do the things you do

Lovely Day

When I wake up in the morning, love

And the sunlight hurts my eyes

And something without warning, love

Bears heavy on my mind

Then I look at you

And the world’s alright with me

Just one look at you

And I know it’s gonna be

A lovely day

Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day…

When the day that lies ahead of me

Seems impossible to face

When someone else instead of me

Always seems to know the way

Then I look at you

And the world’s alright with me

Just one look at you

And I know it’s gonna be

A lovely day…

When the day that lies ahead of me

Seems impossible to face

When someone else instead of me

Always seems to know the way

Then I look at you

And the world’s alright with me

Just one look at you

And I know it’s gonna be

A lovely day…
